Christmas traditions

Christmas Eve 2013

Christmas Eve 2013

Merry Christmas & Happy Boxing Day!! I cannot believe it’s already over.  I also can’t believe T is not home yet.  He’s been busy with his coworkers getting the power back on all over Southern Ontario.  He sacrificed time with his family (and mine) this holiday season to bring power to those still without.  I’m so happy that he loves his job and is helping so many people.  He has and will still manage to sneak in a turkey dinner or two and his presents are still wrapped and awaiting his timely return.  So although I hope this doesn’t become an official Christmas tradition, I defiantly think he made the right decision this year.I still managed to sneak in a few Christmas traditions along with a few glasses of wine…

Christmas at the hall

Christmas at the hall

I hope everyone was able to spend some quality time with their loved ones and remember that sometimes traditions change.  It’s not what or how things change but how you react to the change – Our Christmas has never before been held at the hall but by the smiling faces surrounding the photo above, somethings never change.
